Growth & Gold (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Growth & Gold LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company based in North Carolina. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use growthandgold.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to everything offered through the Site, including purchases, the What’s Missing? quiz, the Ask Sara newsletter, question submissions, free downloads, and our blog.

The short version: we collect only what we need to fill your orders, send what you asked for, and make our work better. We never sell your information. Your quiz results and questions are personal, and we treat them that way.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Orders: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if provided), and order details.

  • Email sign-ups: your email address, and your first name if provided, when you join Ask Sara, take the quiz, download a free resource, or opt in at checkout.

  • Quiz responses: your answers to the What’s Missing? quiz and your resulting top need.

  • Ask Sara submissions: the question you submit and anything you choose to include in it.

  • Messages: anything you send us by email at info@growthandgold.com or through a contact form.

  • License purchases: for Professional or Practice & Group licenses, any information you provide about your practice or organization.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring website, and time spent on the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

  • Email engagement: whether you open our emails and which links you click.

Payment information. Payments are processed by our e-commerce platform and its payment processors, such as Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • process, fulfill, and ship your orders and deliver digital products;

  • send order confirmations, shipping updates, and other transactional messages;

  • deliver your quiz results and send Ask Sara emails you’ve signed up for;

  • tailor which emails you receive based on how you joined and your quiz result;

  • read, consider, and potentially answer submitted questions in de-identified form (see Section 5);

  • respond to messages and provide customer support;

  • verify and manage professional licenses;

  • understand how the Site is used so we can improve it;

  • prevent fraud, protect the Site, and meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. Your Quiz Results

The What’s Missing? quiz is a self-reflection tool, not an assessment or diagnosis. Because your result reflects something personal, we handle it carefully:

  • Your result is linked to your email address only so we can send your full result and relevant follow-up emails.

  • We use your result only to choose which emails you receive. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that run the quiz and our email list.

  • We do not sell your result or use it to build advertising profiles.

  • You can ask us to delete your result at any time (see Section 9).

4. Consumer Health Data

Some information you share with us may be considered consumer health data under certain state laws. This includes quiz results that reflect emotional needs, and anything about your mental or emotional health that you include in an Ask Sara submission.

  • We collect this information only with your consent, which you give by choosing to take the quiz or submit a question, and only to provide what you requested.

  • We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it except with the service providers described in Section 6, who process it on our behalf.

  • You may withdraw consent and request deletion at any time by emailing info@growthandgold.com.

5. Ask Sara Submissions

  • Don’t include identifying details. Please leave out your full name, other people’s names, and anything that could identify you or someone else.

  • De-identification before publishing. If we answer your question publicly, we remove names and identifying details first. Published questions are never attributed to you by name.

  • Retention. We keep original submissions only as long as we need them to consider and prepare a response, and no longer than [12 months]. After that, they are deleted.

  • Not confidential like counseling. Submissions are not counseling communications and are not protected by the confidentiality rules that apply to therapy.

  • Not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or call 911.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with service providers that help us run Growth & Gold, and only as needed for them to do so:

  • E-commerce and website hosting: Squarespace, which runs the Site, store, and checkout.

  • Payment processors: such as Stripe and PayPal.

  • Shipping: USPS, which receives your name and shipping address.

  • Print-on-demand fulfillment: Printful, which receives your name, shipping address, and order details for merchandise and prints.

  • Email service provider: our newsletter and email platform, which stores your email address, name if provided, quiz result, and sign-up source.

  • Quiz platform: the tool that runs the What’s Missing? quiz.

  • Analytics: Squarespace Analytics, and any similar tool we use to understand Site traffic.

These providers may use your information only to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer such as a sale or merger. In a business transfer, your information would remain protected by this policy or one at least as protective.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site and checkout working, remember your cart, and understand how visitors use the Site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some Site features, including checkout, may not work without them.

If we advertise on platforms such as Pinterest or YouTube in the future, we may use their measurement tools to see whether our ads work. We will update this policy before doing so. Quiz results and Ask Sara submissions will never be shared with advertising platforms.

8. Your Email Choices

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Even after you unsubscribe, we may still send transactional emails about your orders.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Wherever you live in the U.S., you may ask us to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;

  • correct inaccurate information;

  • delete your information, including quiz results and submissions;

  • receive a copy of your information in a portable format;

  • withdraw consent for any processing based on consent.

To make a request, email info@growthandgold.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. We will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

We may need to keep some information, such as order records, to meet tax, accounting, or legal obligations.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it:

  • Order records: as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, generally 7 years.

  • Email subscriber data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

  • Quiz results: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

  • Ask Sara submissions: as described in Section 5.

  • Messages: as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.

11. How We Protect Your Information

We use reputable service providers with industry-standard security, limit access to personal information to the people who need it to run the business, and never store full payment card numbers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Artificial Intelligence

We do not sell or license your personal information, quiz results, or submissions to anyone for training artificial intelligence models.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact info@growthandgold.com and we will delete it.

14. Location

Growth & Gold is based in the United States and currently sells to U.S. customers only. Information is stored and processed in the United States.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when it last changed. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the Site or email subscribers.
